If you decide for freedom, you must also decide against being a slave, or else you will remain enslaved. If you decide for light, you must also decide against darkness and all the habits and comforts that come with it. And if you decide to take your own responsibility, it will only bear fruit if you decide against dependencies.
1. Formulate your wish and make yourself aware of the opposite of this wish and how you have been enmeshed in it up to now.
2. Look at the Golden Circle or envision it if you are already familiar with it.
3. Decide to let your wish come true. Then place one or two fingers at the “12 o'clock” position (if you imagine the Golden Circle as a clock) and move them clockwise until you feel a resistance. It may occur already at the very beginning of the circle, in the middle or near the end. These resistances represent all the things that have kept your wish from coming true so far. You are familiar with resistances like these, which your fingers can now feel. You’ve been scared away by them often enough in life and given up on your wishes. This time, nothing is going to hold you back. You gather all your courage and strength and move your fingers right through the resistance. You may perceive even more resistances until your fingers circle back to 12 o’clock on the Golden Circle. They may feel hard, heavy or insurmountable. Your fingers may hurt or even cramp. Don’t let anything hold you back. Not this time. You have the right to decide over your own life, and nothing or no one can hold you back any longer. Once your fingers have moved all the way around the Golden Circle, you will feel a discharge, a relief, a liberation. Now, your wish can come true. To be sure, you can even move your fingers around the circle for a second time. Enjoy the lightness this time.
4. Now, it’s time to bid farewell to the opposite of your wish. Place one or two fingers at the top of the Golden Circle, once again at the 12 o'clock position, and then move them counterclockwise around the circle.
Once again, you will find resistances of various qualities. You will doubt your own strength. You may see images or memories of times in your past where you've given up when faced with these resistances. You may even hear the words of people who didn't believe in you, or tried to put you down. The resistances for letting go of the opposite of your wish are often just as great and strong as the resistances keeping you from achieving your wish.
It is your life. You have the freedom to choose. It is your strength and courage. And your fingers will also overcome these resistances and you will feel the relief and liberation when you reach 12 o'clock at the top of the Golden Circle again.
